What a web app is for
A workshop handed us six Word documents and asked whether it had to be this painful. It did not. That job became a platform that mechanics fill in on an iPad, that works when the shed has no signal, that produces a finished PDF report the moment a job is signed off, and that the office can search by date, mechanic, rego or status. The same approach fits inspection sheets, compliance checklists, booking and dispatch, staff portals and the other small systems a business runs on paper or in a spreadsheet.
It runs in the web browser your staff already have, so there is nothing to install and no per-device licence. Installed to a home screen it behaves like an app, and we build the safety nets into the database so a stale device cannot bring back a line you deleted.
How an engagement runs
We scope it in phases and quote each phase as a fixed price before it starts. A new tool starts with your existing forms, which we rebuild in your wording and your order, then the accounts, the branding, the report emails configured so they land in the office inbox and not in junk, and the devices set up. Then an hour with the people who will use it, running a real job through, and a first week where we fix anything that gets in the way.
After go-live the platform fee covers running it: hosting, database and file storage on paid, backed-up tiers, email delivery from your own verified address, the domain and its certificate, daily backups, security patching and monitoring so we usually know something has broken before you tell us. Support is email and phone in business hours; something broken and stopping work is same business day.
What is quoted separately
New features that do not exist yet: a new screen, a new report, a new workflow. Integrations with other systems, such as accounting or parts ordering. Back-capture of old records. Hardware and the site's internet. Each is scoped and priced before we start, and you approve the price first, every time. Anything not set out in the scope is outside it until it is quoted.
Questions we get asked
Do I need new hardware?
No. It runs in the browser on the iPads, phones and computers you already have.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Work queues on the device and syncs when the connection comes back.
Who owns the data, and can I leave?
You do. If you leave, we export every record and every PDF and hand it over. No fee.
Why a setup fee when other apps have none?
Because they do not do the setup. You get a login and a blank template builder, and entering four hundred checklist items becomes your job. We do that part.
Why is the monthly fee flat?
A price that climbs with use gives a business a reason to ration logins or skip writing a job up properly. The system only earns its keep if every job goes through it.
